Lawyers, Civil Society Members March to Islamabad on Foot
Caravan which left federal capital on August 7 at 11am from GPO Chowk should have arrived its destination on August 14 and presented a memorandum to government officials in front of parliament building.

ReplyDeleteLAHORE - A caravan of over 25 lawyers and civil society activists started an on foot march to Islamabad here on Saturday to build pressure on the federal government for the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui and 10,000 other missing persons of the country who had allegedly been handed over to America in the middle of war against terror.
The caravan will reach Islamabad on August 14 with sojourns at every district bars falling along the way to Islamabad on GT road.
Syed Azhar Hussain advocate, Rubina Mahpara and Secretary SCBA Raja Zulqurnain are leading the caravan which will present a memorandum to the federal government in front of the parliament building pressing for doing needful for the release of Dr Aafia from the illegal US custody and save the innocent lady from life imprisonment sentence hanging on her...
